Historic Preservation Association (JHPA) is an organization
of residents with a common determination to protect the
rural quality and natural beauty of the township and a common
interest in its history. We are dedicated to the preservation
of our historic structures - homes, barns, schoolhouses,
as well as tree-lined roads, clear streams and green spaces.
Our most recent
project has reached fruition in the achievement of Ohio Scenic
Byway Status for our roads in Jefferson Township. JHPA
recently donated funds for the enhancement at the motorists'
turnoff on Havens and Clark State Roads affording a scenic
view of Rocky Fork Creek.
We wish to
continue our work to beautify our roadways with additional
turnoffs and to help develop bike/leisure paths throughout
the township. Your support is much needed and greatly appreciated.
