Jefferson Township's scenic byway was approved and officially dedicated in
2003. Roads included in the byway are posted with Ohio's official Byway
sign.
The Jefferson Township Scenic Byway includes about 15 miles of roadways, all
within the Township's boundaries. Once approved, our Scenic Byway will become
the state's 14th officially designated Ohio Byway.
Soon, the familiar Ohio Byway trillium will be sprouting along these
exceptionally pretty roads in Jefferson Township, so all drivers will know they
are traveling along a road in a very special place.
