Jefferson Township's scenic byway was approved and officially dedicated in 2003.  Roads included in the byway are posted with Ohio's official Byway sign.

The Jefferson Township Scenic Byway includes about 15 miles of roadways, all within the Township's boundaries. Once approved, our Scenic Byway will become the state's 14th officially designated Ohio Byway.

Soon, the familiar Ohio Byway trillium will be sprouting along these exceptionally pretty roads in Jefferson Township, so all drivers will know they are traveling along a road in a very special place.

Roads included on the plan are:

• Clark State from West Park Lane to Waggoner
• Mann Road
• Havens Road from Clark State to Waggoner
• Waggoner between Havens and Clark State
• Darling and Rovilla Roads
• Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road between Rovilla and Clark State
• Kitzmiller between RNA and Morse
• Headley Road and Shull Road between Headley and Kames Way

These roads were selected not only for their scenic beauty but for:

• The numbers of historic structures that front on them
• The adjacent natural resources (such as Blacklick and Rocky Fork Creek)
• Archeological and geological features (Indian mound on Shull Road and the rock formations on Rocky Fork Creek)
• The parks and other recreational opportunities they abut
